What do Mal’s continued appearances in Cobb’s dreams symbolize, in your opinion? Provide examples from the film and an explanation to support your answer. I think that Mal symbolizes Cobs guilt that he has for Mal's death.  She ends up showing up in all of the dreams hat he is in to try and distract him. I believe that she does this because he blames himself for her suicide and it's a self punishment he holds on to bad venison's of Mal. This then is Cobb's self conscious telling him that he should have been more mindful of Mal. For example in the beginning of the movie she is in Saito's self conscious to distract Cobb from his mission. Also parts of the night that Mal died keeps showing up while Cobb and the others are in Fisher's self conscious. Over all, Mal is a symbol of Cobb's guilt of her death.

It exists because the machines are taking over and they needed to make a world for the humans so they could take over the real world. 2. Why did Morpheus and his followers consider The Matrix evil? They might think that the Matrix is evil because they decided everything in your life. It is like our world because the government chooses what we can or cannot do.
