At the end of the movie If I Stay it shows a montage of everything that she enjoyed in life through shot slowed chips. It speeds up until it goes to white and the background music is a mixture of her boyfriend singing, others talking about her living and there's sound effects that make it sound like her life is crashing down. This montage makes the view feel tension and sadness.
