the matrix pt 2

1. In the film Neo was told that people could not accept total happiness; that people expected a certain amount of misery and suffering. Do you believe this to be true? Why or why not?
This could be true because a lot of people always look at the negative even though something really good is going on.

2. The movie seems to make a number of religious references – particularly to Christianity. Consider the following:
Neo was referred to as “The One.” Was he a Christ-figure? Why or why not? What are some of the parallels?
He might be a crest figure but I feel he might have just been the most powerful person in the Matrix. I don't know anything about christ so I don't know how they could be the same. Just that they are both not fully human.

3. Trinity refers to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. What did the character Trinity represent in the film?
Could the Oracle represent God?
Yes it could because they both know everything

Who might Morpheus represent?
Morpheus is the leader so possibly someone that is a leader. When googling the name Morpheus is comes up with the god of sleep and dreams, this might represent that they are "sleeping" while they are in the matrix.

Who might the Agents represent?
Agent's might represent the devil or the evil parts.

4. At the end of the movie Neo challenges The Matrix by accusing it of being afraid of change. Neo goes on to say that he envisions a world without The Matrix, without rules and controls, without boundaries or borders, where anything is possible. What would a world without rules and boundaries look like?
There would be koas in the world. This is definitely not a good thing. I wouldn't want to live in a world like that. I like the world we live in with laws and order. Doing bad things shouldn't be able to happen or everyone will just be scared to live.

5.What is The Matrix?
The matrix is a dream world that everyone lives in so no one will look at what the real world is.
